LA to Arches

Hello,

I live in LA and plan to visit arches national park during thanksgiving. I also want to visit Bryce canyon on the way.

I do not have much experience driving in snow. Is it a good idea or not. Is I-70 difficult drive during winter?

Bryce after a dusting of snow is pretty darn beautiful. Here are some tips for driving safely in the snow and here is an article we wrote about a fall drive to Bryce last fall.

Especially if you like photography, the fall is a great time to explore red rock country. The colors seem to be deeper, skies bluer, and air crisper than almost any other time. Take lots of memory, or film! Bob

Do you know the driving time from Bryce to Arches and Arches to st. Goerge UT. I would like to drive at least one of them during the day.

At average speed, the time from Bryce to Arches via the fastest route is about 5 hours. Returning to St George will take almost 6. These times do not include time out for any stops, so you'll have to figure that in as well.
