Hello to all!
I am requesting a different kind of help. I need some opinions because I am torn between 2 routes and I can only do one.
I am leaving Denver and heading south. My initial route took me to Sand Dunes National Monument. This looks very cool in some pictures and just average in other pictures. Plus, it might not be worthy of taking a day to see it. But on the other hand, am I missing an outstanding wonder of the US if I don't see this?
The other option would be to take the million dollar highway that I have been hearing and reading so much about. It looks amazing with a lot of great stops. Plus driving through the mountains is a great experience.
To me, both are equally as enticing because both look amazing.
I will end up going towards the 4 corners and into southern Utah after either destination.
My hope is that the RTA crowd will steer me (subjective opinions are welcome!) of which route to take. I hope some of you have experienced both and can give and can give some insight of what I can expect.
Thanks
(I am going to try to post a poll to see if I can take a vote on the two)
