Possible labor day week trip

Fantastic photos! Beautiful colors and positioning. You have a great eye and artistic skill. I don't think I could pick a favorite but, if I had to, I might pick "Superior sunset scene".

I really liked the sense of solitude I felt. I don't like people and crowds. So this was just fantastic. During the week, most of the time, I was the only person in the entire campground. And the weather was just right, nice and warm in the day, a little bit chilly at night. At the end of a busy photo taking day, I would come back to my camp, start a nice campfire, sit in front of it, sipping some brandy and reading a silly paperback. That was the best!

I understand exactly what you mean and pretty much think the same way. It's almost impossible to find solitude in the U.k. and to have that space and sense of freedom is very uplifting. The nights around the camp fire reflecting on the day just gone were very peaceful.
