Default Trip New Hampshire to Houston

    Hi.

I love driving. I think it is one of the things i really enjoy doing. Recently i got a job in the southand its is my wish to drive all the way down to México. But still i need to pass Houston.

My trip should start Friday January 29. I appreciate your experience in where to sleep. And where to stop in the route.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the RTA Forum!

Assuming you just want to go from NH to Houston as fast as possible, and guessing you're starting somewhere in southern NH, like Manchester or Concord, then you're looking needing a minimum of 3.5 days to make this drive safely.

Front Royal, VA; Chattanooga TN; and Baton Rouge, LA would be places to look to stop.

Of course, if you're not looking to get there as fast as possible, then you could have some other options.

I have driven from Annapolis to Houston, not quite as far north as where you are starting. Chattanooga was beautiful and glad we stopped there. If you can spare the time, I would definitely recommend swooping down to New Orleans. It would be worth the extra day if you can afford the time.

Best of luck on your trip.

I'm not really sure what more we can provide you in the way of thoughts and experience.

As previously mentioned, if you care about the safety of yourself and everyone else on the road, you'll take at least 3.5 days for this trip. That means, if you leave Tuesday morning, you should not arrive in Houston until Friday afternoon - and that assumes you see good weather the entire way.
