Miami to LA

Myself and a mate are doing a road trip in March from Miami to LA. have chosen a rough route, just wondering any places we should really go and other places we should maybe avoid? or any tips in general?

Hello and welcome to the RTA forums.

The list would be endless and with no guidance it's impossible to make meaningful suggestions. I would look around the RTA site, study a good map and see what appeals. When you have done so you might want to tell us more, where does this "rough route" take you, how much time do you have, what are your interests, what age group, is it a one way trip and so on ???

The more you give the better advice you will recieve.

Just in case it is not clear.... what Dave is referring to, is a good paper map. You will find that the maps of all the States through which you will be travelling have numerous attractions marked on them - natural, historical, touristy, etc. Or you might choose to check out a good road atlas, such as the Rand McNally.
