My boyfriend and I will be driving from Sun Valley, Idaho to Jackson Hole, Wyoming during the first week of March. We have alloted an entire day for this trip and would love to make a few interesting stops along the way (even if it means driving an indirect route). Specifically, we are interested in snowmobile tours and hot springs (we would prefer natural hot springs over i.e. a pool with a slide). We would consider cross country skiing (have looked into this at craters of the moon) but will be skiing in both SV and JH and are looking forward to having a day off! I couldn't find much info on hot springs (that aren't man-made pools) or snowmobiling tours in this part of Idaho. Any ideas would be much appreciated! If we are unable to do either of those activities, is there anything else worth seeing? We live in Manhattan and are really looking forward to being surrounded by natural beauty. Mesa Falls looks particularly pretty and not too out of the way. Is Idaho Falls worth the stop? Any other smaller interesting towns? Suggestions on where to stop for food? Very much appreicate any advice!
