Boston to Monterey,CA

Hi, this is my first post here, and I'm thinking it through how to plan a travel from Boston to Monterey, CA.
I'll travel with my friend, and both of us are up to drive 7 to 8 hours a day. And my my question is: is possible to get there in two days?

Then stay for 3 or 4 days, and come back to Boston in Two days? I'm searching the best routes in the maps.
Also I'd like to do a few stops, and I know that this will take some time. So, if someone please can give me some tips, how to drive across the U.S and also stop to see nice places without taking more than two days driving, (if that is possible)

2 days????? Absolutely not. This is a 3200 mile drive and it will take SIX DAYS. Each way.

So, if someone please can give me some tips, how to drive across the U.S and also stop to see nice places without taking more than two days driving, (if that is possible)

The only way to do it within 2 days is fly !! You can't drive safely for 16 hours a day between the two of you, never mind doing it the next day as well, and if you did you would have to average 100mph without ever having to stop for fuel food or a pee ! Impossible. If you only have a week you need to rethink your whole trip, to get 3 days in Monterey you would be on the limit with 2 weeks at your disposal. To keep to 2 days of driving heading west, St Louis is about as far as you can safely get.

It is not physically possible to drive from Boston to Monterey in 2 days, we're not even talking issues with safety or sleep. There are simply not enough hours in the day. In real world conditions, you're looking at 53 hours of driving!

I'm sorry, we hate to be discouraging, but your plans are just too far away from reality to be a serious starting point. As others have indicated, even at a speed run pace this is 5+ days of driving each way.

We encourage you to look into a roadtrip, but you need to first get a better sense on what is actually possible, and from Boston, 2 days of driving will only get you to the Mississippi River.

Sticking to all the rules that commercial truckers have to follow, my husband said it took he and his trucker partner about 4 days to cross the country. That was on their drive-sleep/rest rotation that they had to follow.

If I were the OP, I'd be thinking seriously about flying to SFO and renting a car on the other end.
