  1. Default Montana Route Question

Coming from Glacier National Park, and heading East through Montana (going to Chicago) which route would be quicker, and/or more scenic: U.S. 93 South to I-90 to I-94, or U.S. 2 to Mt 200 to I-94? I have looked at a few map and directions web sites, and been givel both routes.

Is this a roundtrip for you? Chicago-Glacier-Chicago? If so, why not do one route there and the other route home? I've only done the 93 S to I-90 route myself so I can't compare it to the other.

Going on I-90 you go through some great areas. Butte has the Copper King Mansion and the Our Lady of the Rockies. Montana State University in Bozeman has a fantastic dinosaur museum. Big Timber has the Greycliffe Prairie Dog Town (so fun!) and a great waterslide park (which can be a welcome respite on a roadtrip). So those are just a few of the things you can do going that awy.

However, your other route keeps you off the Interstate longer. So that means you'll probably get a more intimate view of nature zipping by. I have no idea what there is to see on that route though.
