2 month car hire for 23 yr/old?

Does anyone know of any good company on the West coast (anywhere) that would rent a car to a 23 yr old from the UK for 2 months for a decent rate?

A convertible would be nice, but the rates I've seen are extortionate. Any contacts/anyone I could talk to?

No I won't be travelling till early June. I've gotten a few quotes on sleeper vans from all those companies, and Auto team seems quite good.

I won't be making a decision until I have recieved my visa and purchased tickets, which should be happening within 2 weeks.

I will report back sometime later when I'm on the road.

I've heard of Rent-A-Wreck; I know they operate in Vancouver and some other US cities, but I'm not sure of exact locations...
