utah-east cost in August

I was googling for information on driving across the country and found this site.
What a great place to find info on roadtrips!

We live temporarely in Utah have bought a car here in the U.S. and are shipping it back to Europe when we go back there in August. Got this idea that maybe we could drive the car to Eastcost instead of sending it with other stuff. We have yet not idea would it make any sense, but sounds tempting. What way would you recommend in August?
We could use about 3 weeks on the road and would like too see interesting places - for us that means more like national parks, reservations etc. tahn big cities.PLUS we have a baby (7 monts in August), so canīt drive long distances at a time.

With 3 weeks you could easily make the trip. You could pretty easily make the distance alone in under a week, so you'll have lots of time to see and explore things and places along the way. At this point, I think you could just get out a map and get an idea of what places you might want to see along the way. You'll have plenty of choices, but once you've got some places in mind, then you can sketch out a route that would make sense for you.

As Michael said, this gives you plenty of time and you should have no problem with taking breaks as needed for the baby while still seeing a lot of things along the way.

There's no one best route as it all depends on what you want to see. I suggest getting out a big map of the US and start marking national parks and other places you want to see. A logical route should start jumping out at you.
