Los Angeles to ???? in 8 or 9 Days?

Greetings,
Well as the title says I have 8 - 9 days with my wife in which we would like to road trip somewhere. We like to eat good and see beautiful sights. My wife loves the national parks so I was thinking Yellowstone but am not sure if we have time to do it. I am the solo driver that can do about 475-500mi a day I think. Asides from parks my wife likes haunted or murder related stops. That was strage to type lol.
Any suggestions for a 8 day road trip from Los angeles and back please advise me.

It's just over 1000 miles to Yellowstone vi I-15 so you could drive this in 2 days, 4 days for a round trip. This leaves you about 4 days to explore Yellowstone and possibly some of the surrounding area.

However, this also means you won't have time to do much exploring on the way there and back again. And there is a lot to see along the way.

Have you considered a national park closer to home? Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, King's Canyon and Sequoia are just a few you might consider.

But, in the end, there's nothing wrong with the quick drive to Yellowstone if that's what you decide to do. Something like this would make a nice loop.

My wife has been wanting to goto Yosemite... I would also consider seeing more of the local National parks if someone have a good suggestion for a 8 day trip. We did the grand canyon road trip for 8 days and it was awsome and we barely had to drive. We spent alot of time seeing form outside the car.

As Judy already mentioned, it would seem like Yosemite would be about perfect for your trip. You'd actually have even less driving that even your trip to Grand Canyon, so you could also pretty comfortably fit in a couple days at Sequoia/Kings Canyon and also perhaps Death Valley or drive some of the Pacific Coast Highway.
