INTERMISSION

My last post completes Part 2 of this report, making way for the third and final segment: our drive back north to the border, with stops in San Cristobal de las Casas, Oaxaca, and San Miguel de Allende, where we experienced all three days of Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead celebration. There will be no more Mayan ruins in Part 3; (I hear some of you breathing a sigh of relief). Instead, there will be colonial cities, extraordinary mountain roads, picturesque villages, and, for the grand finale, the most amazing Fiesta I’ve ever experienced.

Unfortunately, I’m going to need a little time to finish putting all that together, so, once again, I must ask for your patience while I hit the pause button on these posts. Realistically, I should have it all done in the next four to six weeks (possibly sooner). As soon as it’s ready, I’ll be back with the conclusion.

In the meanwhile? Stay cool (and Happy Trails),

Rick
