Hi Dave, According to, RV Trip Wizard, there's a Low Clearance point on US 93 in the Jackson, MT area. I've looked on the MT D.O.T. website and I see nothing about low clearances listed. Where would you lookwhen trip planning to find the real skinny on low clearances when planning your trip? Michael
Check lowclearances.com, they sell a database. They claim that they have 7000 low clearance bridges in the US.
Rand McNally publishes a Motor Carrier Road Atlas which should have low-clearance info. Truckers NEED to know this stuff. You might even find one on sale at a truck stop.

Thank you, Nofan.
I will "second" the suggestion of the trucker's atlas. It is full of that information for the price of that book, plus a lot of maps and other information. You can buy it in paper or laminated. We drive an ordinary pickup truck, but we still like the trucker's atlas in laminated form because it has a ton of information in it.

Hi Donna, I'm driving a 5th wheel.

Thank you, Donna, Thank you, Nofan,
I've got the 2021 Rand McNally Large format altas on order. I'm using my 2018 for now but I want a current one for this year's travels.
Hi again Gic,
According to the Low Clearances website, their latest update is dated March of 2019. I was hoping for a current look.
Go safe.
That's a bit strange as US93 doesn't go near Jackson WY ?? I have driven almost the entire length of US93 in a class C RV without issues. Does RV Wizard pinpoint the locations ?Hi Dave, According to, RV Trip Wizard, there's a Low Clearance point on US 93 in the Jackson, MT area
I believe there are a few apps available on line for truckers and RV'ers but I have always found that should there be a low clearance bridge on a highway there would be plenty of warning and alternative routes signed.
