Thanks for the update Dave. I don't now how to interpret those numbers but is there anyone here who can make an educated guess when Tioga Pass will open based on it? I know there is no way to know for sure but I'm wondering if its more likely then not that it will be open by early June.

There is no way of knowing at the moment as there could be late winter storms and they are never sure what problems they may come across until they are actually plowing. Rocks and trees on the road can slow them, as can avalanche risk etc. Personally I think there is a good chance it will be open by the end of May, but at the moment best guess is 50/50.

Default Glacier point road opening tomorrow morning.

Plowing is due to start on Tioga Pass today so it will be interesting to see what the progress reports come up with. I am surprised to hear that most of the Glacier point Rd plowing is completed and they are now working on the road to prepare it for opening tomorrow [Tuesday 19th April] at 9am. This points towards an early[ish] opening of Tioga Pass, but as we know much can change. Rock and tree fall across the road, avalanche risk and still a chance of late storms, could all alter that thought process.

Yup -- we have a couple of storms heading towards California from out to sea, this week. Snow is going to come down in Yosemite through Tuesday, but then it may turn to rain.

    Default Lacking info.

There have been no updates published [that I can find] as to how the plowing effort inside the park is moving along, which is quite unusual. There is a bit of snow in the weather forecast, but nothing really significant to report.

Plowing along CA120 from Lee Vining up to the park gate entrance is moving along, with this section anticipated to be opened on April 29th at Noon.
