  1. Default Road Trip Montreal to Washington

Hello everyone. It's my first time travelling to US and I'm planning a road trip from Montreal. I'm an Architect and Urban Designer and I love both historical and modern cities and also nature and landscape.
This is what I've planned but it's pretty flexible and I'd love to hear your opinion and if there are smaller cities and places on the road:
Montreal / Boston / New York / Philadelphia / Washington

    Thanks a lot

    Default Cities, Cities, Cities

Bienvenue sur les forums de RoadTrip Amérique. Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

Normally we tend to encourage people to get out of the cities and enjoy the pleasures of the road. The name of this website is RoadTrip America after all. But in your case, with your interests, it makes perfect sense to concentrate your time o some of out larger east coast cities. A few other smaller cities that I think you might also enjoy would include Providence RI, Hartford and New Haven in Connecticut, and Baltimore MD especially the area around the Inner Harbor. But then when you're ready to head home, take a break from the urban emphasis of your trip and just enjoy a relaxing drive on some more or less back roads such as US-15, US-30, US-209, and the Taconic State Parkway.
