That's very true.
This is very interesting, I never knew of this location.Back downtown on the 5 to the African Burial Ground National Monument. This was the most interesting of the sites we visited. In the 1990s, while excavating for building in central Manhattan, a cemetery with 15,000 remains was discovered. The graves date back to the 1600s and were all African Americans. The small visitor center does an outstanding job of interpreting this site.
