Quick painless route from DC to New Orleans June 15

Five adults in a Honda Pilot have 2 days to get to New Orleans.....Chattanooga, Asheville or Atlanta route?

That's 1100 miles, so you'd have to do 550 miles per day to do it comfortably. That's via the route suggested by my trip-routing software. .... I-66 out of DC, to I-81 south, to I-75 south, to I-59 all the way down. You can stay somewhere around Athens or Cleveland, TN, unless you want to go into Chattanooga (609 miles).

I would avoid Atlanta -- heard stories about the traffic there rivaling Los Angeles.
