Buffalo NY to St. Louis

I'm planning a trip in June.
Buffalo to St. Louis -- will have several days on the return trip for stops and excursions.
Looking for any family attractions along the way.
Museums, National Parks, Historical Sites, Animals, Food, Sports, Fun/Unique attractions --- are all the sorts of things we're looking for.

Welcome aboard the RoadTrip America Forums!

Well, there are several great attrractions to fill the several days you have for your return trip. Start in St. Louis where you have one of the world's great zoos - and it's free! Juat ouside Indianapolis there's the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum. Near Dayton OH, there's the US Air Force Museum. Then if you head north on I-75 from there, you can visit Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky. Cleveland would be worth a day or two on its own with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, its world class Natural History Museum, and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. And if you're of a mind (and the kid's even know who they are!) you can take a slight detour to Jamestown NY and visit the Lucy and Desi Museum

Thank you! We will definitely go to the zoo --- The other suggestions look great! I will research them --- they are ALL the sorts of things my kids love!
