  1. Default Green Bay to Seattle and back again!!!

My girlfriend and I recently took a trip I thought I'd share. We started in Green Bay, WI and drove to Kadoka SD on the first day. It took about 14 hours. The second day we saw the Badlands, Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Needles Highway and Custer State Park. We left Custer around 4 pm and drove to Riverton, WY. Day 3 we drove through the Grand Tetons and into Yellowstone. We saw Old Faithful and ended up camping at Madison. Day 4 we did 75% of the figure 8 (mud volcanoes, upper and lower falls, tower falls, mammoth hot springs) and then drove to Boise, ID. Day 5 we drove along the columbia river gorge, saw Multanomah Falls and Bonneville Dam. Day 6 we did a brief tour of portland and then drove to Mount Saint Helens and Mt Rainier. Day 7 we spent sightseeing at Mt Rainier. Very pretty and definitely recommended! Day 8 we drove up to the Olympic peninsula and saw the Hoh rain forrest. The next 3 nights we stayed in Seattle. Space Needle, Pikes Place, Star Bucks, EMP, Kerry Park, Underground Tour and The Museum of Flight were all visited. Amazing city and we will go back! We took 2 days to drive to Glacier. Camped at Fish Creek. Did going to the sun highway and many glacier on day 14. Then decided to head home around 6pm. Drove till 3am only to find no vacancy anywhere. Spent the night in the car at a rest area. We drove a total of 21 hours on the last day. 15 days - 5,869 miles - 10 National Parks

Great time. If we had to do it again I think 3 weeks would be ideal.

Aaron, we did a similar trip from MKE-Seattle and back in May. Wasn't it just awesome??? I just loved the Columbia River and all the falls - we just kinda fell into that looking for somewhere to eat. We actually hit Spokane, WA on the way out there and then came back thru Salt Lake City, which has quite a bit to see. Next trip we are hoping to take the train out to Vancouver and then drive down the West Coast to San Diego and fly home from there. It was too much to do together with this trip. Happy Trails (AND GO PACK GO!)

You are going to have to take public transportation to Seattle. You can't rent a car in Canada and return it in the US.
