If you like to hike, then depending on your hiking ability and adjustment to high altitude you make appropriate selections from the many short to long day hikes in Yosemite National Park.

Seems like we should have been a little bit faster when it comes to making reservations in Yosemite National park. It looks like it's all sold out on most of the camps, but im an optimist by heart, so those first come, first serve might have some tents.

    Hi again,

So sorry I wasn't clear. The Tuolumne Meadows campground offers some sites for first come, first serve. It is BYOT (Bring Your Own Tent) -- they do not provide tents, beds or linens nor do they have showers. If you want to stay in the park, then keep checking the DNC website for cancellations. Tuolumne Meadows Lodge and Curry Village offer tent cabins which are canvas tents on a wooden platform.

Okay, well guess it will be a somewhat regular visit to the cancellation site then :)
