San Antonio Hill Country BlueBells

My husband and I love the hill country around San Antonio. We have tripped that area a few years back in May. We learned on that trip that we missed the bluebells. Can anyone tell me about this spring event and celebrations surrounding the blooms?

Doing a Google search has proven quite difficult for this particular subject (in fact, this very thread is being returned as the number one search result!) It appears that the early weeks of April are the prime bloom time for these flowers, and that the festival you are looking for is called "Fiesta San Antonio." This year, it's from April 7 to April 17.
