Tom and I have been working the maps database for most of the past year, updating the RTA RoadTrip Attractions on the RTA Custom Maps database, keeping everything current and reducing the link-rot.

A new glitch has arisen that is changing the correct GPS locations for RA's that we have edited and updated to GPS coordinates in Pasadena, California and Cloudcroft, New Mexico. If you wanted to see an example of this bizarre issue: put Louisville Slugger in the keyword text box on the Advanced Maps page

-- click "Keyword search" and see where the marker is! (Yep, the marker has moved from Louisville, KY to Pasadena, California.)

We are on the case, so if you are looking at RA's in the RTA Custom Maps and see peculiar map placements for the RA -- this is the reason. We will get it resolved and restore all of the GPS locations to the proper locations as soon as we can.

It was a coding error we made. (sigh).

Fortunately, Tom figured out a fix that resolves all of the errors--or at least I think it does.

Oopsies like this are likely to accelerate my gray hair production.
