Virginia to Chicago to Portland Oregon to Virginia

My best friend and I are going to be driving from Northern Va to Cloumbus/Dayton Ohio to Chicago Illinois. We're staying a few days in Chicago and then will be continuing on to Portland Oregon through the "middle" route of the three suggested by Google maps, the one through South Dakota. We'll be in Portland for a few days and then driving back to Virginia.

If you'd like to share any portion of that trip we'd love to have company. Non-smokers please, we're open to folks traveling with small pets.

Dates: August 2/3 leave, August 4-5 in Dayton, August 5-9 Chicago +Milwaukee, August 10-13 on the road to Portland, August 13-16/17 Portland, August 17-20 heading east.

Hey, I'd be interested in accompanying you on your trip. I need to travel from Philadelphia to Victoria BC, for a job, so Portland Oregon would work out well for me.
