Driving from Santa Barbara to Denver

I am moving from Santa Barbara to Colorado Springs, next week, and I am going to drive, but I am curious how the drive is? Snow, mountains, etc. I hope to do it in 2 days. Leave on a Wednesday and arrive on Friday Morning.

Anything anyone can tell me would be helpful.
