Suggest attractions when driving From Minneapolis,MN to Washinton,DC

I am going on a week road trip from minneapolis to washington,dc.
Chicago , Toledo, Cleveland,Pitsburgh comes in the way.
Hopefully weather supports me all the way.Suggest me good attractions all trough my drive way.

Unfortunately vague, all-inclusive requests such as 'tell me all the good stuff to see' are simply impossible to respond to in any meaningful way. There is simply to much and we know nothing of your interests. In short, there is no generic list of 'best'. What we can do, and have done, is to compile lists of some interesting sites in every state as well as some restful stops along the major roadways. I suggest you have a look at those as a starting point to discover what appeals to you.
