    Default Need a Portable Freezer/Refrigerator

    Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a portable freezer/refrigerator that I can plug into the car while driving and bring into the hotel room and plug in. Doesn't need to be huge, just enough for about 5 days of food.

Thanks In Advance for Your Help!

Your best bet is probably one of the Thermoelectric coolers. Here's coleman's line for example.

I've got a small one (its not a coleman, I think its rubbermaid or black and decker) and it works ok. Its kind of nice for things you want to make sure don't get wet, but I still get far more use out of the regular cooler. One thing you do have to worry about is that they need to keep running even when your car is parked, which can drain the battery.
