Florida to Ohio in December

I want to go to Ohio during December to see my husband's Great Aunt. I have never driven in the snow before and neither has my husband.

What tips can you give me? Anyone ever driven that route in December? What can I expect?

Any tips/help is appreciated!!

Where in Florida are you starting from and where in Ohio are you going to? While you certainly could see snow anywhere along the route in December, you'd be more likely to run into it in say Cleveland than Cinci.
