Indianapolis, IN to Seattle, WA - tips/pointers?

Hi all,

I'm moving from Indianapolis to Seattle, and my route looks like this Indy to Kansas City to Colorado Springs to Tucson to Salt Lake City to Seattle. Any good pointers as to what I should see along the way? Or just pointers in general about travelling that route alone - places I shouldn't go through, camera tips etc.

Welcome to the Great American RoadTrip Forum! The dip to the south through Tucson, was there a specific reason for adding the extra 500-600 miles?
