me and some of my friends are planning on taking a week long road trip from minnesota ot cedar point in ohio. Is there any fun places to stop in between the too. and any good places to see in chicago other than navy peir and the sears tower?

Of course there is far more to Chicago than just Sears Tower and Navy Pier! The Field Museum as well as the Museum of Science and Industry are two of the best museums in the world. There's also the Handcock Building, which arguably has even better views than the Sears Tower, Wrigley Field, and a whole host of great parks, neighborhoods, and restaurants. If you want to compare and contrast roller coasters, you could also make a stop at Six Flags Great America.
