Driving Denver, CO to Moab, UT

Hi everyone,
I'm planning a trip to Moab, UT (arches and canyonlands) for June of this year. Since it seems that this trip basicly involves flying into either Salt Lake City or Denver and driving the rest of the way, I'm wondering if anyone can provide me with some pro's and con's of either of these options?
I know it is closer in terms of mileage to do the Salt Lake City to Moab drive but is there anything in particular that is more enjoyable or scenic about one vs the other?
Any suggestions or comments would be most appreciated!

Welcome to the Great American RoadTrip Forum! Ah, I sometimes think that hiking in the slickrock country around Moab is heaven on earth!

Since it seems that this trip basicly involves flying into either Salt Lake City or Denver and driving the rest of the way

Either option includes some of the most scenic driving options in the west. In fact, if you like to ride in remote, challenging country -- I would fly to Salt Lake and then spend a few days in the Utah San Rafael Swell area (one of these days I will finish an article about this place). But for a quick overview I would suggest looking at this one.
