How much is an average boat rental per day?

I would really like to know how much i costs to start out. Including the certification class, the licence it self, and the gear. im in the galveston texas area if that helps.

I'm not really sure how many regulars and moderators are on this forum that are boaters too. Some of us are RV'ers but that's a lot different.

A quick search on Google, though, indicates that the Texas Fish & Wildlife Dept might be the one to contact regarding the safety certification course that you have to take. A look at their FAQ page indicates that courses start at $20 and are required for folks born in 1993 or later years.

As above, boating is not really our thing, but if it was I still think the advice would be to check out various boat rental companies and check cost and requirements to rent.
