Chicago to Seattle roadtrip! Help!

Hi!

We are planning a roadtrip from Chicago to Seattle (24 days more or less - Badlands, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Glacier, Olympic... ) and we have some doubts...

The doubt I want to ask you for advice is related to Washington state. We don't know where to stop the day we are leaving Glacier National Park heading to Seattle. Spokane is 6 hours from Glacier but we aren't very excited about stopping there, what do you think? Any beautiful place near Spokane?

From Spokane area we will go to Olympic but we would like to stop in Mt Rainier and Mt. St. Helens and also stop in Snoquailmie Falls. Which is the best route?

Spokane is very scenic, but look at Couer D'Alene, Idaho.

With 24 days for this trip, you will not have any need to watch the clock.

On leaving GNP you could drive beautiful scenic highway 2, which, if you take the time to really appreciate it, could take several hours to Kalispell. There is Marias Pass, Goatlick, Columbia Falls, Whitefish and of course, Hungry Horse, to name but a few attractions. Fantastic ranger station at Hungry Horse. You'll get all the information you need, not to miss out on any great spots to see.

Then you could meander through the highways and biways of that corner of Montana and Northern Idaho, picking up accommodation wherever you happen to end up.

It is such a lovely corner of the world right there in the Rocky Mountains, you won't want to just rush through it.
