Default ...over not so troubled waters

The last one has me stumped... so instead I'll add one of my own.

What is the name of this bridge?
    What road did it carry?
What is the name of the body of water it crosses?

    Default Twilight's lighthouse?

What a bizarre location for a lighthouse....

    Unless it is in Maine?

This one is going to take some time....

Wow, what a cool angle and photo... hmmm, that seems like a short bridge-- that's tricky too....

Not Maine, and it's location IS noteworthy.

The only reason why I was able to get this one was because this is the only remaining curved-span covered bridge in the US (almost the world).

It is Humpback Bridge, which crosses Dunlap Creek. It is outside Covington, VA, and the road I had to look up... James River and Kanawha Turnpike

That's exactly right! Good work! The bridge is about 100 feet long and is closed to traffic. There is a little picnic area nearby, but the smell of a local paper manufacturing plant gives the air a somewhat unpleasant aroma.

The structure looks like some of the light houses found around the great lakes -- but that slope and that heavy tree cover-- doesn't fit.

    hmmm

This lighthouse was first ceremonially lit by FDR.
