Road trip from NYC to SC

Hi, me and my sister are in the early 20's and we are planning to do a road trip from NYC to Myrtle Beach, SC in 3-4 days. Then we are staying there for a week and going back to NYC also in 3-4 days in a road trip. So we want to go from one way and on our way back to come from another way...any suggestions?

A little while back I finally documented the two main options for scenic routes up and down the east coast: the Appalachian route and the coast route. You should go over those to get an idea of what's available to you. There are, of course, other options including I-95 (for speed) and US-29/US-17 (for history). Just keep in mind that with 3-4 days each way, you'll have quite a bit of time to explore a number of different roads and places.
