Campervan trip

I am wantiong to go on a 4 week trip round america starting at NY & ending there!

Wanting to travel by campervan next summer but struggling to know were to start with the planning etc!

Does anyone have any hint or tips? Or know any sites that help you plan your trip without them booking it all for you?!

Any help or advise appreciated ;-)

What sort of stuff do you need to know ? Firstly I would do some research, find the stuff in America that appeals to you, find out where they are on the map and start adding the dots to it and the best way to join them up.
You will certainly find thousands of ideas throughout the forums and road trip planning pages by searching key words and using the tags.
Once you have done some research, we can help you put your trip together the way you want it to be, but you need to do the "leg work" first to enable us to help you. Planning is a very enjoyable part of the trip as a whole, so get started and find the places that you want to see and keep asking questions as you go.

Thanks ;-) I have only just started looking - this site is by far the most useful I have come accross! I am just trawling through all the forums now there is soooo much to read etc - all so enjoybale & making me more excited by the min

Don't forget to look in the roadtrip planning pages in the green tool bar near the top of the page as well. Full of routes, travel tips and RV info.
