I think you conveyed that your feelings were a mixture of fatigue, home-sickness, and just the sadness of some of the stories. Or did I cut you too much slack? ;)

We get a lot of ribbing from the urban areas because we're rural and are supposed to be unsophisticated, provincial, uneducated, and toothless. <sigh> So I guess I can understand why Tasmanians might be a bit sensitive. But I think you gave a balanced review.
