Circular roadtrip from Seattle

Hi everyone.

My friend and I are flying into and out of Seattle in June and we have about 10 days to do a roadtrip.

I was thinking we could head down the coast through Washington State and Oregon, then come back up in land. Anyone got any ideas for a fab circular trip to Seattle? What will the weather be like in June?

Have seen some amazing pics of Oregon but don't know too much. It's our first roadtrip, and we're keen to keep it a bit flexible so we can stop off a whatever interesting places we come across.

There are lots of choices but I think I would head down the coast as far as the Redwoods in Northern California, then come back north and view the inland attractions like Crater Lake and Mt.
