1st solo trip!!!

I'm planing my st solo trip From Ohio to Florida in Dec.

i plan on leaving on the 17 and being back back on on new years eve.

I also plan on taking I-77 and I-95 down to Florida. so here's my plan for the way to FL.

Day 1 ~ Leave Ohio drive to Charlotte, NC and spend the night in my car.

Day 2 ~ Leave Charlotte and drive to Savannah and spend the night and part of Day 3 with family.

Day 3 Afternoon/Evening ~ Leave Savannah at 1 in the afternoon and drive to Daytona Beach.

Day 4 & 5 ~ spend both day's in Daytona (staying a hotel)

Day 6 ~ Take I-4 to I-75 Tampa. spend Day 7,8,9,10 with family in Tampa Area.

Day 11 ~ leaving Tampa to come back north to via I-4 to I-95. Stop for night in Columbia, SC (may Car Camp?)

Day 12 ~ leave Columbia for Charleston, WV spend Night

Day 13 ~ leave W.V. for cleveland.

I never gone on a road trip before so i need help an what to bring. What do i put in my car to make it Safer in the winter (I may Be driving a Mustang).

Also Since I'am a Poor college student; I need to know more ways to save money (I know to bring my own drinks and snacks)?
