1-Way Car Hire: San Fran -> Vegas

Hi all,

A few of us are doing a bit of a roadtrip from San Fran to Vegas and we're wondering about the best place to rent a MPV or minivan. It seems that most companies say "there may be an additional 1 way charge" without saying what it is. Can anyone suggest who we should look to hire with and pay the minimum 1-way charge.

The only way to know is to shop around, rates and fees can change depending upon demand. A couple hundred bucks wouldn't be unheard of, but you might be able to find a better deal too.

Actually, the biggest challenge may be finding a mini-van to rent one way. I've never tried myself, but I think I've read from a few other people on here who have had difficulty finding companies who will allow any one way on minivans. Again, you'll have to shop around and see what will be available.

If you are travelling from the UK you could try Usrentacar, they have a special offer on one way rentals between California and Nevada (free).
I think they use Dollar for this offer.
