Charleston SC to Beaufort SC

I'm planning a trip this summer to Charleston SC and then to Beaufort SC. Does anyone have any information on thins to do and see in Beaufort SC?

I'm sure we could reel off a few dozen, if not more, attractions in the Beaufort area, but we prefer a rifle to a shotgun approach. So what kinds of attractions and/or activities are of interest to you?

You've got to check out Hunting Island State Park too, great for nature lovers and beach bums alike. And if you're into history, the Penn Center is worth a visit, especially if you're interested in African American history and culture. Plenty of good eats around too, make sure to grab some fresh seafood while you're there!
