GLC's detailed route is advised. Whether or not you take I-76 Pennsylvania Turnpike is a personal choice. Personally, I am not a big fan of the PA Turnpike but after a long drive you might prefer cutting a few miles at the tail end.

Cash toll from New Stanton (I-70) to Carlisle (to get to I-81) is $22.60, if you stay on the turnpike to the US-222 Reading exit, it's $30.30.

Hey everyone Thank you all for the advice! We decided that flying would be best after considering time, cost and safety. Saving our road trip for the summer when we can enjoy the sights and attractions quite a bit more without the stress of weather.

I really appreciate how kind and helpful you all have been.

    Thank you.

While we all enjoy roadtrips (obviously) there clearly are some times where flying is the better option. Can't fault you for deciding that was the case this time.

Come on back when you're getting ready for that summer trip!
