First Road Trip from Miami to Nashville, need advice please

Hi Guys,
Im going on my first road trip from Miami to Nashville tomorrow. I was wondering what the best route to do this is? I want to do it in one go, is this too stressful? Also will my sunpass work in other states and how much money will it cost in sunpass tolls and if sunpass does not work in other states then what is the most economical way to pay for tolls? Also, this is my first long road trip any advice to make my trip a success will be much appreciated.

Trying to drive from Miami to Nashville in one day is a very, very bad idea. It's a trip that's more than 900 miles, and will take you 16-17 hours in real world conditions (ignore the fantasy times of online map programs). That's far more than is safe to do in one day, even with multiple drivers. For comparison, a professional driver would be required to take a day and a half for this trip, as they are limited to about 600 miles in a day because of safety laws.

The fastest route would be the FL Turnpike to I-75 to I-24, but you shouldn't try to get any farther than Atlanta in a single day.

I don't believe Sunpass works in any other state, but it doesn't matter, as you won't have any tollways outside of Florida anyway!
