  1. Default Nashville to Orlando

I'll be going to Disney World from Nashville the third week of June. We're actually going to break the trip up in two days, with the bulk of the driving on the first day down there and then the second day on the way back. We'll have three girls with us, ages 10, 16, and 19. Is there anything along the way that would be fun to see and make the drive a little less boring? I'm new to this part of the country and have never made this drive before.

    Welcome to the RTA Forum!

Boring is always a state of mind on a roadtrip, so your approach will be the #1 factor that will determine how much fun you have.

I'd start by looking at using two different routes, that will create a little variety for what you see.

For example, maybe on your trip down, you'd head down through Alabama, and look to spend a little time on the beaches and parks of the Florida panhandle. Then heading back, perhaps go more direct up to Atlanta, and explore some of the attractions of that city.

Of course, there are always parks and places to explore right off the road. Be sure to check out the RTA Map Center to get a good idea of the many, many options of places you could explore.
