Looking for suggestion for an 8 hour road trip from Trenton, NJ.
Friday thru Sunday trip.
Any suggestions?
If it was a fun or, interesting trip for you, it might be for us.
The trips could be for couples or, up to 10 adults and 1 infint.

What interested me well within 8 hours driving of Trenton, may also interest you. Eastern PA is one of my favourite places to roadtrip.

Have you ever checked out the lovely hamlet of Jim Thorpe, and the many tourist sites around there. It is a lovely little old hamlet with the narrow streets, quaint shops and the old hotel.... and lots more. There is Hickory Run SP with the Boulder Fields and Lehigh Gorge SP among other attractions. Neighbouring hamlets have similar attractions.

Bedford County, its covered bridges and gravity hill, as well as many other attractions. Then there is the Delaware Water Gap where you could spend much more than a weekend, providing you are outdoorsy type of people.

Near the top of my list would be the magnificent Tunkhannock Viaduct at Nicholson, and other railway viaducts in eastern PA, not quite so magnificent, but still great sites.

Hershey PA, Lancaster PA, Gettysburg PA Civil War, Wellsboro PA "Grand Canyon of the East". Many places are reachable in NY, and New England. Boston is 4.5 hours away.

You are in reach of Washington DC and a lot of the Mid Atlantic states.
