    Default Still flowing strong.

The snow melt continues, meanwhile there is new snow expected through the middle of the week which could top it off a little.

Other news for Tioga Pass is regarding road repairs this season which could cause delays so it will be wise to check before travelling.

    From the official site.

    2014 Road Projects

A road rehabilitation project is tentatively scheduled for Tioga Road from Crane Flat To White Wolf beginning early June, 2014. The project is scheduled to conclude in November 2015. Delays will be possible each week, 24 hours per day, beginning Sunday at 11 pm through Friday at 4:30 pm. A more detailed scheduled will be posted here once it is finalized.

The specific work includes accessibility improvements, repairing or replacing existing failed curbs, subgrade repairs, culvert improvements and grinding up and repaving the existing roadway.
    Happy travels !

    Dave.

Default A good time for 'Moonbows'.

Another video from the series of Yosemite Nature notes covers the effects created by a moonlit night over the Falls.

    Enjoy.

The snow plows have barely been put to bed for the summer months, but we're already flexing our collective prognosticator muscles.... The 18th running of this annual contest officially launched this afternoon. For more information, click here....

    Default Roadworks :'(

Good to know.... might have to change the plans for next year. There was a thought of going back that way, next year.

    Oh well!
