3 weeks around National Parks of the American Southwest

I'm currently sat in my motel just outside of Bryce Canyon waiting for the light to get better (or the rain and clouds to clear a little!), so thought i'd at least start this thread. It will hopefully progress over time, though may only get finished once i get back to the UK.

The basic outline of the trip is as follows:
A three week roadtrip around National Parks of the Southwest. It's primarily a photographic trip, and i am doing this all on my own!

The route is as follows:
- Yellowstone NP
- Grand Teton NP
- Salt Lake City (stopover between driving, and recovery. Not sightseeing)
- Bryce Canyon NP
- Zion NP
- Death Valley NP
- Mammoth Lakes
- Yosemite NP
- San Francisco
- Carmel
- Pismo Beach
- Santa Barbara

So far i've added a number of National Parks to the list, as i have stopped at a couple on the way between places. The added parks are:
- Capitol Reef
- Grand Escalante
- Valley of Fire


I will just put photos up for now, and may add wording later if i get time! Don't expect too much originality with any of the shots though!

Please comment away, and as this trip is on going (until the 26th September 2011), please let me know if i should see something specific on my route!

Wasting time waiting for my flight out of Washington IAD (i had two stops, one in Washington, and the other in Denver). The final destination was Bozeman, Montana.

Beautiful photos. Familiar??? Why not, it brings back great memories, as I've seen all of the above except Grand Escalante (which you just added to my list of places to see in the future!). Loved that buffalo head photo!
