We are planing a road trip for next week from phoenix to GC with a stop in Sedona. I saw couple of hiking trail in Sedona but not sure which one is the best to take with not so experienced kids (8,10)

A place in Sedona for kids: Slide Rock State Park. Bring your swimming suits and towels. It may be a bit crowded during the summer months, but it's SO much fun. My kids loved it, and they were about that age when we enjoyed it.
It's actually in Oak Creek Canyon, nearby. Google "Slide Rock State Park Arizona" and the directions are there.
