Michael is, of course, totally correct. However, you guys are in Chicago, which is going to have the widest selection of restaurants anywhere in the Midwest - after all, it's the 3rd largest city in the country. The Prime Quarter came to mind as a concept that Chicago does not have to the best of my knowledge. For that matter, there are some really nice restaurants in the Chicago suburbs that I can recommend if that's all you are looking for, I lived in the western burbs for 35 years.

Perhaps you should approach this a bit differently - research someplace you want to go for a better reason than just a good restaurant - THEN research what restaurants are available.
