    Welcome!

    1. There really isn't a "best" time - any time during the summer holiday would have essentially the same conditions. The hottest and most humid time will generally be later in July into August.

    2. Generally, from around June 1 to September 1.

Before we can answer (3) we need to know how many days you have allotted for the trip. Just to drive from Orlando to Washington via Interstate highways would take 2 days.

We have now a concreat plann. The 2th of juni we travel from Ams to Orlando. On the 5th we pickup our car and driving first down to the everglades, than to key west, after that we drive back up north to Miami, Cape Canaveral to jacksonville.

And there i'm goin to be stuck i can take the I95 to colombia and pickup there the US route 1 or take direct after jacksonville the US route 1?

    Default From Jacksonville - North

Once you make it to Jacksonville the quickest route to WashDC is I-95 which runs through Jacksonville. (You'll probably already be on it since your traveling from Miami.)

    Default Pennsylvania Amish Country

I have spent considerable time in the area of southeastern Pennsylvania that is known as 'Amish Country', but I know of no particularly Amish towns. The Amish are by nature and choice a rural people who live mostly on their own farms, not in towns or cities. I think you'd do best to simply explore some of the back roads in the triangular area roughly bounded by Lancaster, Coatesville, and Oxford Pennsylvania. Avoid US-30 which is chock-a-block with "Authentic Amish" experiences which are neither and stick to roads like PA-340, PA-896, PA-472 and the like. If I had to pick any towns which are associated with the Amish more than others, while avoiding being tourist traps, I'd suggest Strasburg and Oxford. And although it is not particularly Amish, Lititz is a charming town in its own right.

I live in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania. The amish are everywhere!!!! Just drive down the back roads late afternoon, and evening on a Sunday, and you will be sure to run into tons! Strasburg, pa is a very nice quaint town. Stop by the creamery for some old fashioned ice cream.
