Frazil Ice in Yosemite

Cool indeed, and positively cold in that frazil ice !

I have alway's wanted to visit during this time of year, but even more so now ! I would like to be able to get up close and personal to that cone at the bottom of the Falls as someone had done in the video.

It was the second one I watched and my initial reaction was the same as the person that captured a rock fall on video, a few small rocks !! When you see the replay's and the aftermath of what was captured on that video, it really highlights how hard it is to "take in" the scale and sheer size of this place.
